Brunch worthy
Driving up from San Francisco, we crossed the Golden Gate bridge and made sure to fill our tank with fuel– food, of course. Check out this homie brunch spot, called Bayside Cafe. We ordered the omelet, french toast and espresso — all which kept us satisfied and satiated.
Award-winning… gin
There’s more to wine country than wine… in fact for those spirit enthusiasts, you’re in luck! For a new tasting experience, make sure to stop by Griffo Distillery. The charming ambiance, warm hospitality, and delicious spirits — paired with gourmet chocolates– will be an experience worth remembering!
Oyster Heaven
After Griffo Distillery, we made the trek out to Bodega Bay– a unique bay town known for their oysters! The drive is beautiful and scenic, so be sure to enjoy the surrounding beach and mountains as you find a restaurant to stop at and enjoy fresh seafood.
Stay the night
After a day of fun-filled experiences, rest and enjoy the comfort of a truly upscale, boutique hotel. We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Sausalito for the most comfortable night sleep of my life!
History and wine
The next morning, we headed to Sonoma for wine tasting. If you’re looking for an eclectic wine tasting experience, look no further than Buena Vista Winery. Tantalize your sense at this California winery, established in 1857, which offers a variety of wines. We tried the Private Reserve and Heritage Collection tastings, which included Champagne Brut and Rosé– a personal favorite!
